Rupal Ojha, PhD

Rupal Ojha holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in biotechnology, from Jaipur National University. She pursued her passion for research further and completed her PhD in Biochemistry from the Central University of Rajasthan, India. Here PhD research was focused on the multi-epitope vaccine design against visceral leishmaniasis infection. Throughout her academic journey, she developed a deep interest in understanding the mechanisms of biological processes at the molecular and protein level.

Recently, Rupal has joined Herrlich Lab at Washington University in St. Louis. She is actively engaged in investigating various aspects of cellular signaling and molecular interactions in kidney-heart interorgan cross talk. Outside the lab, she loves to cook and explore new recipes. In free time, Rupal loves to do painting and sketching with pencils.
