Poornima Dilhani WM is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Herrlich Lab. She earned her PhD in neuroscience from Chonnam National University, South Korea, where she studied rodent behavior and hippocampal neuroplasticity in neurological disorders, and joined the Herrlich Lab in April 2023. Outside the lab, Poornima enjoys watching movies, listening to music, cooking, and painting.

Poornima works in the kidney-brain axis and studies mechanisms of neurocognitive dysfunction in kidney disease.
